RAVENNA Another capital not to be missed is
Ravenna. In the Byzantium of the West, it's practically a must to visit its mosaics, which reflect the precious eastern gold, and from June to September can be admired under the delicate light of the stars; classical music-lovers shouldn't miss the musical events of the Ravenna Festival.
RIMINI The land of the Malatesta family and Fellini, your holiday would be lacking something special if you didn't visit the settings of the maestro's films or follow the footsteps of the Malatesta family, and don't leave out unique events like the Rimini Malatesta Family Festival and the Sant'Arcangelo Festival: great concerts, majestic theatre performances.
SAN MARINO The ancient land of freedom perched on Monte Titano, is another stop which can't be missed during excursions along the Adriatic Riviera.
ROM "Roma - non basta una vita!" A lifetime is not enough to enjoy the delights this exciting city has to offer. Our sightseeing tour begins with a visit to St. Peter's in the Vatican and then we cross to ancient Rome where we stop at the Forum to view the Colosseum before we see the Circus Maximus, scene of 'Ben Hur' style chariot races!. After you may wish to visit the Catacombs or just relax in one of the many 'Piazzas'.
FLORENCE The splendid capital of Tuscany. Your guided sightseeing includes the magnificent CATHEDRAL, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry’s heavy bronze “Gate of Paradise,” and sculpture-studded Signoria Square. To top it off, admire Michelangelo’s celebrated David in the ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS. Time for independent sightseeing and browsing through the shops.
VENICE Highlights of our guided tour are ST. MARK'S SQUARE and the BYZANTINE BASILICA, lavish DOGES' PALACE and the Bridge of Sighs. Also watch VENETIAN GLASS BLOWERS fashion their delicate objects in an age-old traditional manner. Then enjoy Venice at your own pace, or join an optional gondola ride.
